I'd heard about Moog through my interest in embedded design and software, so I looked at the company website to find out more. I was really impressed with what they do in the field so I applied straight away. I was so pleased when I got the job. I remember on my first day how friendly everyone was. They always greeted me with a smile. It made me feel like part of the team immediately. Another benefit upon joining was the early responsibility I was given. My colleagues explained that this is simply how they work – they trusted one another and that was what made Moog different. They said that teamwork was important here, and that my workmates would help me out with any problems I came across. It's still like that now.

I work in the development of embedded software, which is quite generic so I get to work on a lot of exciting projects. It's always great to see the results of my efforts in different areas, and probably my favorite moments here involve seeing the results of my work – it's always so satisfying when we tackle something complex and see it turn out successfully. Our clients also really appreciate our expertise.

There is so much scope to discover new things and to learn and explore. I'm always being educated here because of the many projects we handle and the extremely high levels of expertise that makes our work so special. It's great because although there's such a technical proficiency everyone listens to new ideas. Everyone's input is valued.
