My career ambition was always to work in the aerospace industry. Moog has a very good reputation in the aerospace market and I wanted to contribute to that, and also gain valuable experience working with an industry leader. On my first day I wasn't sure what to expect because I knew Moog was a different type of company from domestic Japanese companies, but I thought it was cool. The people were very creative and open-minded which created a friendly atmosphere to work in.

I've been with Moog for 23 years now and still like the environment we work in. I enjoy working in a global society with my fellow 'Moog-ers', and really like the work-life balance the Moog culture offers. But the things I like the most about my work here are the challenging projects we get to do. I work as an engineer designing hydraulic servovalves, so the projects I take on are fascinating to me. My team and I work hard to make sure something gets done, and it's really interesting to pit our wits against a problem and really surpass our customers' expectations. It's very rewarding when your work is so appreciated.
